Kia India has started production of the premium three-row Sorento at its Anantapur plant, with the model due to launch in India on September 4. The Sorento is positioned as Kia’s first hybrid SUV with AWD in the country, and it will also be offered in hybrid and diesel variants. The company is marketing it as a new flagship in India and has opened pre-bookings.
