KBR Selected for USTDA-Funded Low-Carbon Ammonia Pre-FEED in Laayoune, Morocco

KBR said it will support a USTDA-funded low-carbon ammonia project in Laayoune by providing technology licensing and Pre-FEED services for a facility expected to produce about 560,000 metric tons of ammonia annually. The plan uses roughly 900 MW of electrolyzer capacity to produce hydrogen, combining renewable power, hydrogen production and ammonia synthesis on one platform as it advances toward FEED and a final investment decision.
