Judge Orders More Briefs in U.S. Court Over Coupang Data Leak Class Action
A U.S. judge ordered additional briefs by June 6 in a class-action lawsuit tied to Coupang’s alleged personal-information leak, where names, contact details, delivery addresses, and entrance passwords of about 33.7 million users were exposed. Plaintiffs argue the U.S.-listed company controls its Korean subsidiary; Coupang contends the incident occurred in South Korea and most victims are Korean.
