JPMorgan shares slip as rate-hike odds rise despite stronger interest income
JPMorgan Chase shares fell about 0.7% as traders pushed the odds of a September Fed rate hike above 60%. The bank’s Q2 filing showed net interest income up 10% to $25.6 billion, lifting its full-year forecast to $96.5 billion. Still, provisions and net charge-offs were $2.2 billion, driven largely by card services.
