JPMorgan Ends Direct Banking Relationship With Polymarket After Regulatory Questions
JPMorgan told Polymarket it would need to find a new bank in October, according to the Financial Times. Polymarket is working with another lender while leaving open an underwriting role if it pursues an IPO. Polymarket says it maintains a close relationship with JPMorgan across entities and customer-fund flows. Polymarket previously faced U.S. regulatory action, including a 2022 CFTC settlement requiring a $1.4 million penalty and a U.S. operations halt before returning in late 2025.
