JPMorgan Chase is loosening its 135-day ban on using shares in newly public companies as loan collateral for worker and early backer equity, following recent tech IPOs. Ahead of SpaceX’s June listing, it allowed internal teams to approve borrowing against equity well before the window, adding $75 million in IPO fees, and staff expect similar flexibility for Anthropic’s float.
