John Marshall Bancorp and Eagle Financial Services have signed a definitive merger agreement under which Eagle Financial will merge into John Marshall in an all-stock transaction valued at about $253 million. Each EFSI share will convert into the right to receive 2.0 shares of John Marshall. The banking subsidiary will be headquartered in Berryville, Virginia, with both institutions keeping their current brands and a 12-director combined board.
