Isuzu RG19 D-Max recalled in South Africa over possible brake issue

South Africa’s National Consumer Commission warned consumers that Isuzu’s RG19 D-Max bakkie has a brake-pedal pivot pin that may be loose. The recall covers 2,586 single-, double- and extended-cab vehicles sold nationwide from May 11 to July 3, 2026, and exported to several nearby countries. Dealers will inspect and replace the component free of charge.
