Israir to Start New York Ticket Sales for Airbus A330 Flights

Israir will open ticket sales for its New York route on Monday night after completing preparations to operate two Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft. The airline said operational and regulatory readiness was finished within three and a half months, following its May 27 final payment of about $85 million for the planes, with FAA approval as the last major step. Aircraft will enter service gradually.
