Intel Reaches One-Million-Wafer Mark With High-NA EUV, Shares Jump
Intel reached a one-million-wafer milestone in its foundry using High-NA extreme ultraviolet technology, moving beyond lab work into limited Panther Lake production. Investors responded as shares jumped about 7.6%, adding roughly $37–39 billion in market value. Intel and ASML also demonstrated reticle stitching that could let High-NA work with existing six-inch masks, avoiding costly redesigns.
