Intel Data Center Demand Outpaces Output as It Prices $20B Offering
Intel’s data center and AI segment grew 59% year over year in Q2 2026, but management said demand still outpaces output: in April it quantified billions of dollars of unfulfilled demand in a quarter, and by July it expected to remain behind server-CPU shipments into Q4 2026. Capex jumped to over $20B for 2026, and Intel priced a $20B stock offering at $95, upsized from $15B, issuing 210,526,315 shares.
