Intel and Apollo agreed for Intel to repurchase Apollo’s 49% stake in the Ireland Fab 34 joint venture for $14.2 billion. Intel expects to fund the deal with cash on hand and about $6.5 billion in new debt, redeploying capital to accelerate Intel 4 and Intel 3 in Europe and Intel 18A in the U.S., while planning to retire certain debt maturities in 2026 and 2027.
