Intel $150M Paper Gain as Joby and Mobileye Rally in Q2
Intel’s stakes in Joby Aviation and Mobileye Global generated about $150 million in paper gains in Q2 as both stocks rose without any change in Intel’s share counts. Combined position value increased from about $471 million at Q1-end to $621 million by June-end, with Joby up ~8% and Mobileye up more than 40%. Joby advanced toward commercial electric air taxis, while Mobileye’s results and a new Israeli R&D tax break boosted income. Retail sentiment on INTC turned more bearish.
