Infineon Supplies SiC MOSFETs to Fox ESS for More Efficient Residential Storage

Infineon Technologies will supply Fox ESS with 1200V CoolSiC™ SiC MOSFETs in the Q-DPAK package for residential energy storage systems. Fox ESS reports 70% lower switching losses and top inverter efficiency up to 98.78% and battery charge/discharge efficiency up to 98.47%. The top-side-cooled design aims to improve thermal performance, power density and PCB layout, supporting higher overall system efficiency.
