Infineon Radiation-Hardened HiRel Power Devices Support NASA Roman Launch
Infineon radiation-hardened HiRel power devices are aboard NASA’s Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, launched from Kennedy Space Center. The spacecraft will operate for up to a decade at Earth’s L2 region without maintenance, requiring flawless power electronics from day one. Infineon’s components are MIL-PRF qualified for TID and SEE, including a JANS-qualified rad-hard 100 V GaN transistor, supporting Roman’s high-volume daily science downlinks.
