Infineon has partnered with MediaTek to develop AI systems for future vehicles. MediaTek qualified Infineon’s 512Mb quad SPI automotive-grade NOR Flash for its Dimensity Auto Cockpit C-X1, enabling automotive OEM and supplier integration of the approved memory for storing firmware and boot code for SoC-level AI features. Infineon also completed its €570m debt-free, cash-free acquisition of ams Osram’s non-optical analog/mixed-signal sensor portfolio.
