Infineon is acquiring Bangalore-based C2i Semiconductors to add software-defined digital power management and system-level power architectures to its power semiconductor portfolio. The deal targets the fast-changing power demands of AI data centers, using intelligent control and real-time optimization to improve conversion efficiency. It also expands Infineon’s engineering presence in India, where it employs about 2,800 people.
