Indosat Seeks $2 Billion Loan to Buy AI Data Center Chips
Indosat Tbk is reportedly seeking a US$2 billion loan to buy advanced chips for its AI data centers, highlighting large funding needs for high-density compute. With 84% of revenue coming from mobile connectivity, the firm is diversifying into digital infrastructure. The company previously planned a US$200 million AI hub in Central Java with Nvidia, and Citigroup has been appointed to arrange the financing.
