Inditex Second Quarter Preview Shows Middle East Growth Offset by Summer Sales
Inditex, owner of Zara, heads into its second-quarter review after a first half shaped by Middle East tensions, US developments and Spain’s summer sales. The company’s first-quarter performance rose 5.8% in growth and 5.4% in profits. Sales in the first half increased 1.6% to €18.457 billion, net income was $2.791 billion, and analysts expect double-digit net income growth in Q2.
