InterGlobe Aviation’s IndiGo is seeking a Philippine foreign air carrier permit to launch direct services between India and the Philippines, potentially including Manila and Cebu. The Civil Aeronautics Board has scheduled a Sept. 16 hearing to decide whether to grant the permit. IndiGo said it has been exploring options to begin flights within the year.
