Illumina announced a complete whole-genome sequencing solution for molecular residual disease research, the first in a new WGS oncology portfolio. Available in early access for select clinical partners, it uses DRAGEN speed and NovaSeq X compatibility, supports solid-tumor fingerprinting and blood-based MRD detection, and targets ctDNA calls with 99.5% analytical specificity.
