IIFL Finance and its core subsidiary, IIFL Home Finance Limited, disclosed income tax block assessment orders for April 2018 to February 2025, raising a tax demand of ₹963.39 crore (incl. cess and surcharge) driven by additions and disallowances. IIFL Home Finance disputes the treatment of items such as ORC and ESOP expenses and says it will appeal. An authority stay bars recovery of ₹475.56 crore if ₹23.78 crore (5%) is paid in installments by Dec 15, 2026, until Dec 31, 2026 or until CIT(A) decides.
