IHG Hotels & Resorts announced a landmark portfolio deal with GCP Hospitality for 14 hotels and 1,063 rooms in Kyoto. The properties will be renovated and rebranded over the next 12 months, with phased openings, integrating Garner and Holiday Inn Express. GCP Hospitality will lead the management team, supported by IHG’s brand and distribution platforms. Garner launched in Japan in 2025 with three Osaka openings.
