Ignis and Acciona have formalized a joint venture to develop a data center complex in Segovia, Spain, paired with an adjacent solar plant intended to supply the project’s electricity with renewables. Acciona buys a 50% stake in Ignis Data Epta, while Ignis retains the rest, alongside joint acquisition of the solar asset. The arrangement includes 82MW of grid access and a long-term power purchase agreement tied to a 94MW solar facility.
