Iberdrola, via ScottishPower, plans to repower the UK’s Whitelee onshore wind farm, increasing installed capacity from 539 MW to 1,000 MW. The project is backed by an estimated €1.8 billion investment and expected to generate enough clean electricity for over 1.5 million people. It also aims to support hundreds of jobs and add €380 million in gross value added to Scotland over a decade.
