BP has appointed Ian Tyler as its new interim chair, effective immediately, months after the dismissal of Alfred Manifold as chair after less than eight months. Tyler joined as a non-executive director in April 2025. Senior independent director Amanda Blanc will step down from the board. The shake-up follows earlier leadership exits tied to claims of misleading the board.
