Hyundai’s $26B Four-Year U.S. Investment to Exceed Prior 40 Years
Hyundai says it is ahead of “Plan A” after adding extra capacity at its Georgia site, which could build 800,000 vehicles a year across six to seven models, including hybrids, EVs, and extended-range EVs. Hyundai will commit an additional $26 billion to U.S. operations over the next four years to produce at least 80% of U.S. sales domestically. Hybrid sales in the U.S. grew more than 70% last quarter.
