Hyundai Starts Ioniq 3 Production at Turkey Plant for Europe

Hyundai Motor Turkiye has begun producing the Ioniq 3 at its Izmit plant in Kocaeli province, converting more than half of the facility to electric-car output. The compact Aero Hatch will be offered with two battery and motor options, alongside a Hyundai Mobis battery-assembly plant. Hyundai says making its first EV in Turkey for Europe boosts manufacturing, with the move driven mainly by cost and trade access.
