Hyundai Mobis Starts Mass Production at First European EV Powertrain Plant in Slovakia

Hyundai Mobis has begun mass production of integrated Power Electric (PE) systems at a new Nováky, Slovakia plant, its first European site for EV powertrain units. A PE system combines the motor, inverter and reduction gear, improving packaging and cutting resistive losses and electromagnetic interference. The facility targets up to 280,000 PE systems annually and is a major €-scale investment, supplying Hyundai Motor, Kia and other global customers.
