Hyundai and Kia say they sold 131,032 electric vehicles in Europe in the first half of the year, with the Kia EV3 leading at 27,121 units. Other models included the Hyundai Inster (16,594) and Kia EV4 (14,502). Their cumulative European EV sales reached 1,047,028 by end-H1 after surpassing one million in May. A British actress also drew attention after claiming a Kia EV2 saved her life in a France crash.
