Hyundai Motor and Kia opened an AI-specialized joint training center in Gyeongju on Aug. 27. The center supports suppliers’ AI transformation with customized, field-based programs using quality, process, and actual defect data to solve problems. This year it will train about 900 tier-1 and tier-2 employees, with plans to expand AI training across production, R&D, purchasing, and business functions for future mobility components.
