Hyundai and Kia NOVA Lab validates vehicle electronics before prototypes
Hyundai Motor and Kia run the NOVA Lab at their Namyang R&D Center to validate a vehicle’s full electrical architecture before prototypes are built. Using a wire-car test bench and advanced simulation, the lab aims to flag about 350 to 400 potential issues across circuit integrity, controller communication, functional performance and diagnostics, while expanding validation for Ethernet and 48V systems.
