Hystar and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) signed a Strategic Collaboration Agreement to support phased local manufacturing of proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolysers for India’s green hydrogen projects. The deal combines Hystar’s PEM electrolyser technology with BHEL’s engineering capability, aiming to enable cost-competitive, locally made electrolyser systems aligned with India’s clean energy transition, signed in New Delhi with a Royal Norwegian Embassy delegation present.
