A Hyderabad consumer bought a ₹12,999 pair of Puma shoes from a store in Sarath City Capital Mall on October 2, 2025, but the shoes allegedly wore out within two months. After Puma refused a warranty replacement, a Rangareddy District consumer commission ordered a full refund with 9% interest, plus ₹8,000 compensation and costs and additional ₹5,000 compensation and ₹3,000 litigation expenses.
