HYBE Chairman Referred to Prosecution Over Alleged Shareholder Deception
HYBE chairman Bang Si-hyuk will be referred to prosecutors this week over allegations that he deceived investors in 2019 into selling HYBE shares before the company’s IPO. Police say this violated the Capital Markets Act and helped generate nearly 200 billion won in additional illegal profits, following an investigation that included a headquarters raid and earlier rejected arrest warrants.
