Humana to Pay $2.5M to Settle Federal Gender Pay Case
Humana will pay $2.5 million in back wages and interest to 753 women employees in Louisville, after the U.S. Department of Labor alleged a statistical pattern of gender pay discrimination in 2011–2012. Humana denies the allegations but agreed to a conciliation deal, provide back pay of $2,000–$6,000, and conduct a compensation analysis to align pay with men.
