Huawei promoted a Wi‑Fi patent licensing pact with HP as a milestone, but HP said the agreement reflects a settlement of an existing legal dispute between the companies. HP does not supply to Huawei and will not incorporate Huawei components or technology into its products, choosing to license instead. Huawei also remains on the FCC Covered List, while a U.S. trial is due to start next week.
