House Veterans Committee subpoenas Oracle CEO and Ellison over VA records costs
The House Veterans’ Affairs Committee subpoenaed Larry Ellison and Oracle CEO Mike Sicilia to explain excessive costs and progress of the Department of Veterans Affairs electronic health records overhaul. The project, first expected to finish in 2028 at about $10 billion, is now projected to take three more years and cost about $27 billion as deployments roll out to hundreds of medical centers.
