Honeywell Aerospace to Pay $2.04M Cybersecurity False-Claims Act Settlement
Honeywell Aerospace agreed to settle DOJ allegations that a business unit submitted payment claims despite failing to meet DoD contract cybersecurity requirements. Under the False Claims Act, the company will pay $2,042,518, covering conduct alleged between April 2020 and December 2023. A former employee will receive part of the recovery, according to the DOJ.
