Honda Considers New U.S. Plant for Hybrid Expansion Through 2030
Honda plans to expand its gas-electric hybrid lineup, introducing 15 new hybrids by March 2030 mainly for North America and localizing more hybrid powertrains there. A new North American production site is expected, with Honda considering a new U.S. factory and ending Prologue production later this year. Honda already assembles vehicles in Alabama, Indiana and Ohio.
