Honda Begins Torch Tower Battery-Swapping Trial in Tokyo

Honda has begun a demonstration with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Kanamoto to test electrification at construction sites using its swappable Honda Mobile Power Pack e: batteries. The trial runs Aug. 2026 to Mar. 2027 at the Torch Tower build in Otemachi, sharing batteries across high-pressure washers, floodlights and electric motorcycles, with charging, swapping and circulation.
