Holtec, Entergy and Hyundai E&C signed a memorandum of agreement to evaluate potential SMR-300 projects in Entergy’s service territory in the Gulf South. The effort builds on Holtec’s first-of-a-kind SMR-300 deployment at Palisades in Michigan, planned to serve as a global reference, with major components manufactured in the U.S. Entergy also expands solar and long-duration energy storage to improve renewable reliability, alongside SMR-300 passive safety.
