Holcim invested in Cloud Cycle, a UK technology firm using in-truck sensors, edge computing and machine learning to optimize ready-mix concrete quality and mix control in transit and at delivery. The system is already deployed on more than 150 Holcim mixer trucks in the UK, Italy and Switzerland, extending quality monitoring beyond plants and reducing returned concrete while supporting ECOCycle.
