Hitachi, with Hitachi Vantara, Red Hat and Oracle, tested Hitachi Borderless Data Share in a hybrid cloud using Red Hat OpenShift and container storage integration. When a primary-site failure was triggered, OpenShift high availability coordinated with a storage plug-in to automate failover to a secondary site, starting the OS and database while preserving data integrity over an IOWN APN low-latency network exceeding 600 km, with NTT Docomo Business.
