Hitachi Construction Machinery is rebranding to Landcros after 76 years of its Hitachi name. The eighth-largest firm globally by construction equipment revenue set up Hitachi Construction Machinery Americas for manufacturing and distribution and is using its dealer meeting to outline a move into compact track loaders and articulated dump trucks next year. In 2022, Hitachi Ltd. sold its 51.4% stake to Itochu and Japan International Partners.
