Hindustan Zinc Signs Six-Year Contract for 30 Electric Trucks

Hindustan Zinc has signed a six-year transportation contract with MFL India to deploy 30 electric trucks for concentrate hauling on its mine-to-smelter logistics network in Rajasthan, with an option to extend by two years. MFL will set up and run dedicated EV charging infrastructure. The move will replace diesel vehicles between Rampura Agucha and the company’s smelting operations, alongside an expanding EV fleet and a renewable power share of nearly 22%.
