Hindustan Zinc increased renewable energy to 22% of total power consumption, up from 18% in FY26, and aims for nearly 70% clean power by FY28. Green generation rose to 892 million units in FY26 from 632 million in FY25, while its 24/7 renewable deal with Serentica Renewables expanded to 530 MW from 450 MW. It is also upgrading grid connectivity, improving waste-heat recovery, and adding floating solar.
