Hindustan Zinc Gets Karnataka Letter of Intent for 314.21 ha REE Block
Hindustan Zinc received a Letter of Intent from Karnataka for a 314.21-hectare mining lease covering the Gundlupet Rare Earth Elements and Yttrium block, estimated at 11.48 million tonnes of REEs and 7.18 million tonnes of yttrium. Preferred bidder status has become formal, while DIPAM’s clarification on no near-term OFS stake sale has eased overhang concerns, supporting the company’s shift into critical minerals.
