Hindalco Plans ₹50,000 crore Projects as Debt Peaks Near ₹80,000 crore

Hindalco expects consolidated net debt to peak near ₹80,000 crore as it moves into a high-investment phase, with about ₹50,000 crore of projects under execution across aluminium, copper and recycling. Net profit rose 75% to ₹7,013 crore and revenue grew 32% to ₹84,825 crore, while EBITDA increased 73% to a record ₹14,989 crore. The company retains FY27 capex of about ₹12,000 crore, targeting refinery expansion, smelter capacity, copper recycling and downstream growth.
