Ather Energy shares rose more than 5% after about 1.19 crore shares, representing a 3% stake, changed hands in a block deal worth Rs 1,758 crore at Rs 1,480 each. The trade followed Hero MotoCorp’s plan to invest up to Rs 1,758 crore to buy additional Ather shares, lifting its stake to about 32.8% from 29.88%, with the seller’s identity not disclosed.
